I spent the weekend at my girlfriends and was amazed that she knew about kefir!!  I thought I was the only one!!  ha ha ha  I told her how much I love it, and how great it makes me feel.  She says she has some every morning, and that it can also be used to lose weight.  I had never heard of the losing weight benefit, but have heard of all the others, such as youthful appearance, digestive help, calcium boost, etc.

So I searched the internet to see if this was true.  I am already amazed at kefir, but if it can help you lose weight too, then it surely is a true miracle product worth using every day.  My friend said you needed to drink a half a cup three times a day before meals.

I have always chosen the dark chocolate, even as a child. I just love the flavor on my tongue. I never knew how good it was for you, but it seems I have always preferred the healthier choice in all of my food selections.I have always felt so guilty eating chocolate until now. Healing Garden

We had a great day at the beach, but we all got a little too  much sun.  I have always used Noxema for my skin, to help soothe the burn.  I know it’s not organic, but as I stood there looking at the aisles of creams, lotions, etc.  I couldn’t figure out what to get.

But one thing that I did notice was that The Healing Garden has an organic line now.  They look really beautiful, but I haven’t tried it yet.  After my face gets back to normal I plan on heading over to the store and checking them out.

Organic Kefir

This Lifeway Organic Kefir Website is cool.
Lifeway Organic Kefir is a drink everyone should have daily. I love yogurt, but this is much better. It is practically a meal in a cup. Check out the website and definitely try it. If you are not familiar with yogurt and how it tastes then the taste of kefir might surprise you. This is something that is so good for you that you must eat it. Now my daughter doesn’t like the taste, she says it tastes like sour milk, BUT even she will drink a couple tablespoons because she knows how good it is for her.

All Organics Not The Same!!

Wow, I did learn something today in my research. I am somewhat dismayed and disappointed. Not all organic milk is the same!! There is one brand of milk that looks so cute and pretty, the milk just has to be good. Right? Not so. I guess there are some people who have cows that are trying to get on the organic money bandwagon and their milk is not considered fully truly organic in the true definition of organic. Imagine that!

I have tried a few different brands of organic milk and I personally thought they all tasted sweeter than regular milk. I tell my kids that it reminds me of how milk tasted when I was a little girl. I guess short of buying my own cows, I will have to research some more, and try to find the best tasting and best for you organic milk.
